Mallard at Wild Wood Zoo, Canterbury.

I have a feeling this was taken near the beaver enclosure, and naturally, since there's lots of water for the beavers to swim in, there's also lots of ducks and moorhens, too!

There was a whole family of beavers in the enclosure hibernating when we arrived. The two adults were now proud parents of four charming baby beavers!

Words alone cannot describe how adorable they all were cuddling up together sleeping... I wanted to take them all home with me!

Too bad I don't have any photos of these cute beavers, since the enclosure was very dark and dimly-lit so that the beavers could sleep in peace...
