I am guessing the photographer really wanted to get across how it was such a beautiful, warm, sunny day. The photograph really gives you the sense of what is must of been like that day. The leaves really draw you into the picture at first with the lovely yellowy-greens and add a sense of warmth to the picture. That's why I rated Vision and Impact the highest.
There is also brilliant light capture; I love the way you can see shafts of light coming through gaps in the leaves. I also like how some of the trees in the background are bleached in light, really giving the idea that the sun is strong on that fine day. This shows that the photographer has a natural eye for taking the best shots. Although, on the other hand it may just be a fluke that the lighting was like that. That's why I rated Technique 3 stars.
I rated originality the lowest, not because it's not original, but because I see a lot of photographs of the undersides of leaves with shafts of light coming through (I am guilty of it as well). Other than that, brilliant photograph form a brilliant artist.
(This is my first critique by the way so take it or leave it, I won't mind)
